NH Collection Milano CityLife

Fastmount’s Stratlock and Textile ranges have recently been used in the NH Collection Milano CityLife Hotel in Italy, which was formerly the Chiesa Cristo Re Church. After being deconsecrated in 2017, the building now reopens its doors to the public as a beautiful and majestic 4-star hotel.

Designed by the Quattroassociati studio, the hotel has modernised the existing architecture of the church while keeping some of the original components intact, such as the wooden doors and semicircular arches. The furnishings were all custom designed by Quattroassociati architects and made by Pianca, a major Italian industrial brand that produces furniture systems and accessories.

Fastmount was the perfect fit for this project, as our products enabled the architects to install new panels on top of existing materials quickly and easily.

The Stratlock range was used throughout the entire hotel as it provides both style and function. The flush finish allows the hotel to maintain a high standard of quality, while the panels are removable so electronic components hidden behind them can be easily accessed.

In the 185 guest rooms, the Stratlock Rail system was used to mount the headboard and any feature panels in the bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. Areas in the hotel with high ceilings, such as meeting rooms and dining areas, used the Stratlock range to mount large, heavy wall panels.

Fastmount’s textile range was used for the booth seating in the restaurant. This not only decreased installation time, but it also allowed the booth seating to be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.
