Fastmount - born for the marine market
Fastmount’s first panel mounting fasteners were designed specifically for the marine industry. Founding Director Gregg Kelly, a boat builder who also ran a panel upholstery and installation business, realised that super yacht interiors needed a new system to replace the hook and loop fastening that was often used. From there Fastmount grew up in the hard and demanding marine environments, partnering with and meeting the demands of boatyards, installers, and crew members ever since. Today, 90% of shipyards in Europe are our customers.

Luxury boat interior panels - Sunseeker 100 Yacht
Fastmount’s panel fasteners were used in both the interior and exterior of this luxury yacht. The Standard and PanelSafe Ranges were used for ceiling panels and the removable access panel, as well as on the console to secure the dash panels. The Textile Range was utilized for the exterior upholstery as well as upholstered panels.
Marine ceiling panels – Spirit 111 Sailing Yacht
Fastmount’s panel fasteners were used extensively for the Spirit 111, the largest single-masted wooden yacht to be built in the UK since the 1930s. With a radical curved interior, Fastmount’s Standard and Low Profile Ranges proved indispensable on bulkheads and headlinings.
Boat interior wall panels – Mondango 3 Alloy Yacht
The interior design of the Mondango 3 demanded a combination of precision and flexibility, particularly with the curved walls throughout the vessel. The challenge was to find a reliable solution for attaching and detaching interior panels and components quickly while maintaining a flawless aesthetic. Fastmount’s Standard Range was integrated seamlessly throughout the interior and exterior of the vessel, and utilized for both the ceiling and curved walls.
