New Zealand-based Fastmount, manufacturer of hidden panel mounting systems, has launched the SL-SMT1 as part of the Stratlock Range.
The SL-SMT1 enables the use of Fastmount’s PanelSafe products with the award-winning Stratlock® Rail System, to add security to overhead ceiling panels, or to suspend an entire Stratlock Rail System grid from the ceiling using standard M10 ceiling hangers in architectural applications.
With simple installation and no special tools required, the SL-SMT1 clicks simply into the SL-RLE aluminium extrusion to fit seamlessly into the Stratlock Range of products designed to streamline interior construction processes. With a static load capacity of 50kg when used to suspend a ceiling and 25kg shock load when used with the PanelSafe, the SL-SMT1 is a reliable addition to the Stratlock Range and will be invaluable onboard for the controlled removal of large overhead panels.
The Stratlock Rail System was released in 2021 and has since won an Australian Good Design Award, awarded an Iconic Award for Innovative Architecture by the German Design Council, and a Bronze Award at the Best Design Awards by the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
