To help installers overcome these real‑world conditions with greater speed and precision, Fastmount has introduced two SLX Shims – a simple, purpose‑built solution for achieving reliable leveling with the SLX range.
The new shims are engineered to integrate seamlessly with architectural clips from the SLX range – the SLX-F40R, SLX-F1.5R and their fire rated variants.
To accommodate a range of tolerances encountered across global construction markets, SLX Precision Shims are available in:
- 1/8″ (3.2 mm)
- 3/64″ (1.2 mm)
Installers can use a single shim or combine sizes to achieve the exact adjustment required.
