About SLX-M18-FR
The SLX-M18-FR is a fire-rated male clip from Fastmount’s SLX Range, designed for the mounting of heavy interior wall and ceiling panels. It can be fixed to the back of the panel with screws or adhesive, depending on the panel material and project requirements.
The SLX-M18-FR provides a secure fixing point while keeping the finished surface free from visible screws or fixings. It delivers a 18 kg (40lb) pull-out load, while the SLX system’s built-in adjustability and two-stage engagement help installers control panel alignment during installation. When used with compatible SLX female clips SLX-F40R-FR or SLX-F1.5R-FR, it provides a 7mm (9/32″) gap between the panel and substrate.
The SLX-M18-FR works with approved SLX fire-rated female clips, including SLX-F1.5R-FR and SLX-F40R-FR, to create a concealed and removable fire-rated panel fixing system. It gives installers flexibility across fire-rated panel sizes, substrates, and project requirements.
