Fastmount’s Standard Range helped ICMS LLC install paneling across complex curved surfaces at Disney’s highly immersive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser in Florida.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was a 100-room immersive hotel experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, designed to transport guests into the interior of the fictional Halcyon starcruiser.
Working on the project, ICMS LLC used Fastmount’s Standard Range, including the PC-M1B, to install paneling across areas featuring extensive curved and complex surfaces. According to the project team, the flex of the PC-M1B proved particularly useful when installing panels onto the curved surfaces, allowing the mounting system to accommodate the complex forms effectively.
The PC-M1B is designed to allow for flexing and expansion between panel and support-frame materials, while providing a secure concealed fixing for wall and ceiling applications.
The ability of the Standard Range to work successfully across curved surfaces helped the team achieve the highly detailed, uninterrupted finishes required for an interior where every element contributed to the immersive environment.
