Julian from Utah Handrails & Custom Builds (AKA @awesometrimwork on Instagram) created this sleek, modern feature wall which conceals a hidden door. The design required large decorative panels to align seamlessly, with no visible fixings—maintaining the illusion of a continuous wall surface while allowing access when needed.
Clips from our Standard Range allowed the panels to be installed flush against the wall, ensuring a clean aesthetic and perfect alignment. When access to the hidden door is required, the panels can be removed and refitted effortlessly, preserving both functionality and design integrity.
It was very important that we didn’t have any face nails on this job. So we opted to use use [sic] Fastmount clips. These fasteners have a self centering pin that inserts into the female end of the clip. They are very straight forward and easy to use.
