2004: The Beginning
2004: First Product Launch
Soon after the Fastmount panel mounting system was developed the first two products were launched – the PC-M1B and PC-F1A clip set from the Standard range. These quickly gained recognition for the innovative design and functionality, and set the stage for future innovations.
2005: Fastmount is Recognised as Intellectual Property
This year marked a massive milestone for the company – our first IP was granted on the Standard Range of hidden panel fasteners.
2007-2010: Expanding Horizons
By 2010, Fastmount had expanded its product range and several distributors came on board worldwide, including Italy, Taiwan, France, Netherlands and the UK. Our commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our customers drove us to continuously innovate and improve our offerings.
2013: Our Product Portfolio Grew
The year of 2013 saw yet another expansion in our offerings with the release of the Very Low Profile range.
2017: Global Expansion
Fastmount’s footprint expanded globally, with our products being adopted by professionals in over 40 countries. Our international growth was a testament to the universal appeal and reliability of our solutions.
2020: Adapting to New Challenges
The year 2020 brought unprecedented challenges, but at Fastmount, we saw it as an opportunity to innovate and adapt. We introduced new products designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers, reinforcing our commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
2021: We Become Part of Nautical Group Holdings
Fastmount is acquired by Oriens Capital, New Zealand-based private equity firm, renewing our focus on growth and innovation. We become part of the Nautical Holdings Group family alongside Railblaza and NTD Plastics.
2021-2022: Award-Winning Innovations
After many years in development, the Stratlock® Rail System was released in 2021 and began to collect a number of prestigious achievements. These including the Australian Good Design Award, an Iconic Award for Innovative Architecture by the German Design Council, and a Bronze Award at the Best Design Awards by the Designers Institute of New Zealand. This recognition validated our efforts and fueled our passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in mounting solutions.
2023: In-House Production Begins
Supported by capital investment, all of Fastmount’s production moves in-house to NTD Plastics in Napier, New Zealand – also part of the NGH group.
2024: Celebrating 20 Years
Today we are proud of our rich history and celebrate 130 million clips sold worldwide, 36 patents granted or pending and 40 distributors in 50 countries.
