New Zealand company Fastmount Ltd. has won the innovation award at the Superyacht Equipment and Services Event (SEAS) held in Nice 24-26 May 2005.

Their clip system has been specifically developed to meet the demands of marine panel installation in such a way that they can quickly and easily be removed then refitted to exactly the same location time after time.

There is none of the creep or sagging associated with using other systems, and panels can be installed and removed in any sequence. Vibration has little affect even when boats move in a heavy seaway, panels installed using the clips remain in position.

The innovative solution provides a superior ceiling finish with perfect panel alignment every time, fast accurate fixing of deckhead and other panels.

Fastmount supplies a full installation system, kits for onboard maintenance as well as product support and this award surely recognised that these clips will shortly become the world standard for panel mounting in the industry.
